ゆるふわギャングと、カナダの人気プロデューサー/DJのRyan Hemswsorthは、先日のシングル”Fresh All Day”のサプライズ・リリースに続いて、7曲入りのジョイント・アルバム「CIRCUS CIRCUS」を3月29日(金)に世界同時リリースすることをアナウンス。
また本日よりRyan HemsworthとGiraffageの共同プロデュースによるダンサブルなトラック”Shining”を先行配信、iTunesではアルバムのプレオーダーも開始した。
デュオの一人であるNENEがThe Chemical Brothersの最新アルバム「No Geography」にフィーチャーされるなど世界的にも注目を集めるゆるふわギャングが、Ryan Hemsworthとのアジアツアーを敢行。ソウル、香港、上海をまわり、国内では4月17日(水) 福岡Keith Flack、4月19日(金) 渋谷WWW X、4月20日(土) 大阪Circusでライブを行う。
前売りチケットは、各プレイガイドで発売中。

Ryugo IshidaとNENEのラップデュオとプロデューサーAutomaticのユニット。互いにソロで活動していたRyugoとNENEが2016年に東京で出会いゆるふわギャングを結成。最初に作ったミュージックビデオ”Fuckin’ Car”がMajor LazorのDiploにツイートされ、88Risingなどのメディアで取り上げられるなど海外から火が着く。2018年7月にはセカンド・アルバム「Mars Ice House Ⅱ」を発表。デュオの一人であるNENEがThe Chemical Brothersの最新アルバム「No Geography」にフィーチャーされるなど世界的にも注目を集める。サウンドだけでなくクールなヴィジュアルでも注目を集め、New York Timesなどの海外メディアに登場したり、様々なブランドに起用されるなどグローバルに活躍。SPACYでサイケデリックな世界観で唯一無二な存在。
The Japanese rap duo consists of Ryugo Ishida and NENE. Ryugo and NENE were each solo before they met in Tokyo in 2016 and formed Yurufuwa Gang. Their first music video Fu**in’ Car was tweeted by Diplo, and it was picked up on media outlets such as 88 Rising. Their second album Mars Ice House Ⅱ was released In July 2018. NENE, one half on the duo, will be featured on The Chemical Brothers’ forthcoming album “No Geograpy” due to release on April 12, 2019. Not only their music but cool visuals attracted wide attention, appearing in fashion story on T Magazine by The New York Times and advertisements of various brands. Having a Spacey and psychedelic worldview, they are one and only humankind.

ライアン・ヘムズワースは、この5年間ジャンルの枠を超えて活動し、多彩な音楽家としての地位を確立してきた。今年28歳になるヘムズワースは、昨年3枚目のフルアルバム「Elsewhere」を発表するまでにも、MitskiやE-40、Tory Lanesといったアーティストたちへの曲提供や、インストゥルメンタルEP「Talking Flight」の発表、またレコードレーベル「Secret Songs」のオーナーとしても多忙な日々を送っている。ヘムズワースは昨年は、R&Bのフェノム、ティナーシェのJoyride World Tourに参加しただけでなく、自身がヘッドラインを努めるOpen World Tourも敢行している。

Over the last five years, Ryan Hemsworth has established himself as a versatile figure in music, working outside the boundaries of genre. In the time between his third full-length Elsewhere and Hemsworth’s last solo release, 2014’s Alone for the First Time, the 28-year-old artist has kept plenty busy, working on tracks with a variety of artists from Mitski to E-40 to Tory Lanez, while putting out the instrumental Taking Flight EP and continuing to maintain his Secret Songs record label. Hemsworth also hit the road last year with R&B phenom Tinashe for her Joyride World Tour, along with headlining his own Open World Tour.
Hemsworth’s skills have become fully realized this year, traveling from studio to studio across the world, pushing vocalists to their furthest abilities. “I reached a plateau with how far I could get with Soundcloud and email collaborations—everything I came up on,” Hemsworth says on what motivated him on his most recent album Elsewhere. “I needed to get out of my comfort zone. Forcing yourself into rooms with new people, you’re bound to get new results.”
Above all, Hemsworth focuses on supporting young, promising artists: “You can’t deny it when you feel it. I know these artists are great, and I want listeners to feel the same thing.”
