サウンドは、反復偏愛的なダンスミュージック。DFA直系のポストパンク／ディスコパンク。
情報過多気味のユーモア、空回る知性、この全て詰め込んだミュージックテッキーズによるインターネット世代ニヒリズムのメルティングポット。

「毎晩踊りたい」
「体幹を鍛えたい」
「大統領になりたい」

フロントマン中川によるユニークな歌詞は、身体改造願望、意味不明な上昇志向、生活へのじわつく不安、抜けない疲労、理由なき焦燥。
支配性や攻撃性のような旧マッチョイズムからエスケープし、テッキーズ世代による新しい種類の強さを求めた内容になっている。
半分ふざけながら、半分本気で壊れたリロードボタンみたいに繰り返されていく。

そして、終盤には、反復満腹グルーヴの均衡に悪魔を憐れむギターソロが炸裂。

海外のクリエイターによる視覚的アプローチもまた強烈だ。Cover ArtとMusic Video、双方が異様な完成度を誇っている。
日本でも400万部超を売り上げた立体視ブームの立役者として知られる3Dステレオグラムの世界的巨匠、Gary W. Priester（Eyetricks 3D Stereograms）をCover Artで起用。
「見え方を変えることで別の像が立ち上がる」という点で、本楽曲のテーマと奇妙な共振を見せている。
また、ポルトガルのクリエイター、MYNAH FMによるMusic Videoも同時公開。
楽曲に漂う不条理な焦燥感と多層的なユーモアをさらにディープに拡張している。

An Exodus from Machismo Through Repetitive, Overfed, Slackened Post-Punk Sound —
In the Year of the Horse 2026, hotly anticipated newcomers SESSOMATT accelerate slowly but violently.

Their sound is obsessive, repetition-driven dance music DFA-descended post-punk / disco-punk.
A melting pot of internet-generation nihilism created by music techies overflowing with overloaded humor, misfiring intelligence, and far too much information packed into every corner.

“I want to dance every night.”
“I want to strengthen my core.”
“I want to become president.”

Frontman Kan Nakagawa's uniquely surreal lyrics revolve around body-modification fantasies, irrational ambition, creeping anxieties about everyday life, lingering exhaustion, and directionless impatience. Escaping from old forms of machismo rooted in dominance and aggression, the song searches for a new kind of strength shaped by the techie generation. Half-joking and half-serious, its phrases repeat endlessly like a broken reload button.

Then, toward the climax, a devil-sympathizing guitar solo erupts through the equilibrium of the band's repetitive, overfed groove.

The visual approach by international creators is equally striking. Both the cover art and music video possess an almost disturbing level of completion.
For the cover artwork, SESSOMATT enlisted legendary stereogram artist Gary W. Priester (Eyetricks 3D Stereograms), globally known as one of the pioneers behind the Magic Eye boom that sold over four million copies in Japan alone. The stereogram's concept — “a different image emerging when the way of seeing changes” — resonates uncannily with the themes of the song itself.
At the same time, a music video by Portuguese creator MYNAH FM will also be released, further deepening the song's absurd anxiety and multilayered humor into something even more surreal.

セソマット（SESSOMATT）

SESSOMATT is a four-piece band formed in 2024 by high school and university classmates Kan Nakagawa (Gt./Vo.), Ryosuke Takemura (Gt.), Shinnosuke Fujii (Dr.), and Tohji Ohki (Ba.).
Their debut EP 4Matt, released in November 2025, gained unexpected traction online thanks to the disco-infused single “Kisama ni!” (“To You, Bastard!”), earning the band a small but fiercely devoted following. Riding that momentum, they self-produced a cassette tape release, which sold out at cheetah-like speed.
The four members are music techies who spent years scavenging, jackal-like, through late-'90s and 2000s Japanese rock shaped by Western influences, overseas indie music, and the countless sounds drifting through the ocean of the internet. As fragments from their individual hard drives were gradually overloaded into a humble MacBook Air M1 (8GB), a band called SESSOMATT was activated almost by accident.
Equally essential to the band's identity is Kan Nakagawa's distinctive lyrical world, forged in exchange for rock-bottom self-esteem. His words possess a cynical perspective reminiscent of Ray Davies—twisted yet romantic, detached yet deeply sentimental. In that contradiction, a new kind of romantic has emerged.
At its core, SESSOMATT is a guitar band with an ear for unforgettable melodies, though sampling and programmed elements often find their way into the mix. Like a slime constantly changing shape, the band moves freely between styles and approaches. What emerges are vivid, emotionally resonant scenes carried by band music that somehow always retains a faint scent of anti-mainstream rebellion.
SESSOMATT are currently hard at work on their debut full-length album.
高校・大学の同級生である中川 完（Gt./Vo.）、竹村 涼介（Gt.）、藤井 進之介（Dr.）、大木 塔司（Ba.）の4人によって2024年に結成。
2025年11月にリリースしたデビューEP「4Matt」収録のディスコ・チューン「貴様に！」がSNSで話題となり、一部で熱狂的な支持を獲得。
その勢いのままDIYで制作したカセットテープは、チーター並みのスピードで即完売した。
90年代後半〜00年代の洋楽影響下ジャパニーズロックや海外インディ、ネットの海に漂う無数の音楽をジャッカルのように漁り続けてきた4人のミュージックテッキーたち。
彼らがそれぞれ持ち寄ったハードディスクの断片をMacBook Air M1 8GBに過積載していった先でセソマットというバンドが半ば偶然的に起動した。
底を突いた自己肯定感と引き換えに手に入れた中川 完による独特な歌詞世界も、また、かなりセソマット的。
Ray Daviesにも通じるシニカルな視点を持ったその言葉は、ひねくれていて、ロマンチック。そんな斜に構えたロマン派がここに誕生。
基本は、グッドメロディなギターバンドサウンドを軸にしつつ、楽曲によってはサンプリングや打ち込みも導入。スライムのように形を変えながら、自由自在にスタイルを行き来する。
鳴らされるのは、胸を掴む情景とバンドサウンド。しかしどこか、反主流的な匂いを漂わせている。
現在、渾身の1stアルバムを鋭意制作中。
