Le Makeup、2年ぶりのアルバム「The Crying Xpress」が本日リリース。

「The Crying Xpress」感情の特急。弱さの表現。
SNSで呟くみたいに、誰に話すまでもないけど聞いてほしい自分の話。
ミニマルなシンセ、エモーショナルなヴォーカル、クリーントーンのギター、オルタナティヴ・アンビエント・ポップ、独自の世界を構築するシンガーソングライター 【Le Makeup】のニューアルバム。
Telematic Visions、柴田聡子、Doveが参加。

アルバムから最初のシングルとしてリリースされたミニマル・アンビエント・ポップ「はじまり」。
Telematic Visionsの楽曲「each dreams」をそのままサンプリングした「each dreams riddim」。
本作「The Crying Xpress」リード曲でもある「hold on」は、親密さと隣り合わせの孤独を表現。
シンガロング出来そうなサビが印象的な「block party」。
トラウマと現実。何を受け入れて、何を拒絶して自分になっていくかという過程をテーマにした「傷」には、柴田聡子が参加。柴田聡子の楽曲のメロディを引用もしている。
ドリーミーな「c 4eva」は、みんなあたりまえに1人だということ。だけど繋がりをもとめてることがテーマ。
徐々に夜が深まっていくイメージだというアルバムのブレイク的な曲「venus」。
Doveが参加した「ivory recording」は、印象的なシンセのフレーズとDoveのヴォーカルを配した壮大な印象の楽曲。
「一人で迎えられない夜を一人で迎える夜に」エレクトリック・ギターのアルペジオ、ヴォーカル／シンセサイザーがシンクロする夜を想わせる涼しげな楽曲「この夜が終わるまで」。
淡々と日々を過ごすなかで、起きる突風を感じさせるようなポジティブさを感じる「声」。
深い夜と進んでいく先の光を表現した「息」。
孤独な社会生活、人間社会で他人とどう生きていくか、小説からインスピレーションを受けたという「glo」。
言葉にすることの躊躇とかを超えた、音楽へのラブレター「crying ex」の全13曲。

Minimal synths, emotional vocals, clean-toned guitars, and alternative ambient pop-the new album from singer-songwriter【Le Makeup】who creates a unique world of his own.
Featuring Telematic Visions, Satoko Shibata, and Dove.

“hajimari” is a minimal ambient pop track released as the first single from the album.
“each dreams riddim feat. Telematic Visions” which samples Telematic Visions' track “each dreams”.
“hold on” the lead track from the album *The Crying Xpress*, expresses the loneliness that often accompanies intimacy.
“block party” features a catchy chorus that’s perfect for singing along to.
Trauma and Reality. Satoko Shibata is participating in “kizu featuring Satoko Shibata” a project exploring the process of becoming oneself by deciding what to accept and what to reject. It also incorporates melodies from Satoko Shibata's songs.
The dreamy song “c 4eva” is about how everyone is naturally alone, but the theme is the search for connection.
“venus” the album's standout track, evokes the image of night gradually deepening.
“ivory recording featuring Dove” is a grand-sounding track that combines striking synth phrases with Dove's vocals.
“From nights I can’t face alone to nights I face alone”ー“untill this night ends” is a cool, refreshing track evoking the night, with electric guitar arpeggios and vocals/synthesizers in perfect sync.
A “koe” that radiates a positivity so powerful it feels like a sudden gust of wind, even in the midst of a quiet, uneventful daily life.
“iki” which expresses the deep night and the light ahead.
“glo” is inspired by novels exploring solitary social life and how to coexist with others in human society.
“crying ex” A love letter to music that transcends any hesitation to put it into words.

Le Makeup

シンガー／プロデューサー。
関西学院大学在学中に作曲へと本格的に取り組みはじめ、以降国内外の様々なレーベルから作品を発表する。2020年にアルバム「微熱」をリリース。
中国・韓国・オランダ・デンマーク・ドイツでもパフォーマンスを行う。
2023年2月にDove、gummyboy、JUMADIBA、Tohji、環Royが参加したアルバム「Odorata」をリリース。Pitchforkで取り上げられるなど話題となった。
2024年5月にオノ セイゲンがマスタリング・エンジニアとして参加したアルバム「予感」をリリース。東京・大阪で初のワンマン公演「予感」を行った。
2026年にニューアルバム「The Crying Xpress」を4月29日にリリース。

Singer/Producer.
Began seriously pursuing composition while attending Kwansei Gakuin University, subsequently releasing works on various domestic and international labels. Released the album “Binetsu” in 2020.
Has performed in China, South Korea, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany.
In February 2023, released the album ‘Odorata’ featuring contributions from Dove, gummyboy, JUMADIBA, Tohji, and Tamaki Roy. It garnered attention, including coverage by Pitchfork.
In May 2024, released the album ‘Premonition’ with Seigen Ono participating as mastering engineer. Held his first solo concerts, titled ‘Premonition’, in Tokyo and Osaka.
New album “The Crying Xpress” will be released on April 29, 2026.
