フィリピンでコロナ感染者が増え、歌のコンテストの賞贈呈に影響。

2020年5月26日、フィリピンで新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の影響によりロックダウンされた人々を楽しませる為、オンライン上で競う歌のコンテスト「ECQ COVER CONTESTANT – The Agadiers」が開催され、2020年6月14日に日本人のミュージシャンiwaptが優勝した。
フィリピンは新型コロナウイルスの累計感染者数が６月末で、日本の２倍近い３万７５１４人となり、6月24日からセブ市ではさらなる厳格な外出・移動制限のロックダウンが行われた。
その為、iwaptへ受賞の贈呈に遅れが生じたが、2020年7月3日にフィリピンから賞状がiwaptに渡され、iwaptの賞金は、癌と戦っているフィリピン人の手術費に全額譲渡された。

On May 26, 2020, an online singing contest “ECQ COVER CONTESTANT – The Agadiers” was held in the Philippines to entertain those who were locked down due to the effects of COVID-19.
And on June 14, 2020, the Japanese musician iwapt received the 1st prize in the singing contest.
Cumulative total number of COVID-19 infections in the Philippines is 37514, which is almost twice as many as in Japan.
Therefore, since June 24th, a more strict lockdown has been carried out in Cebu City.
Therefore, the award presentation to iwapt was delayed, but the certificate was given to iwapt from the Philippines on July 3, 2020, and all of his award money was transferred to the surgery costs of a Filipino who is fighting cancer.
