GRAPEVINE、「The Decade Show」の追加公演をデビューゆかりの場所で開催。

GRAPEVINEGRAPEVINEのスピードスターレコーズ移籍10年を記念したアニバーサリー・ツアー「The Decade Show」の追加公演が、彼らの地元である大阪のumeda TRADで開催される。
2024年10月31日をもって営業を終了することが決まっているumeda TRADは、GRAPEVINEが大阪で初めてワンマンライブを行った会場(1997年12月。当時の名称は梅田バナナホール)。
ステージや内装は当時の面影を残したままだ。
この10年GRAPEVINEは6枚のフルアルバムをリリース。
その中には「ねずみ浄土」「Alright」「雀の子」などGRAPEVINEの代名詞と呼べる楽曲が含まれている。
GRAPEVINEがデビュー前から立っていたステージで2024年と1997年が交錯する。
最後のumeda TRADで見るGRAPEVINEのライブをお楽しみに。

GRAPEVINE

1993年に大阪で活動開始。バンド名はマーヴィン･ゲイの「I heard it through the grapevine」から借用。東京に拠点を移し、1997年9月にミニ・アルバム「覚醒」でデビュー。「スロウ」「光について」を含むアルバム「Lifetime」(1999)は多くのリスナーを獲得した。最新アルバムは「雀の子」「Ub(You bet on it )」「停電の夜」を含む「Almost there」(2023)。 デビュー25年を超えた今も、アルバムをコンスタントにリリースし、精力的にツアーを行っている。 現在のラインナップは田中和将(Vo,Gt)、西川弘剛(Gt)、亀井亨(Dr)、高野勲(Key)、金戸覚(Ba) 。
